Travel Program Info and Registration

 

Program Information

BYBA fields competitive traveling teams for both boys and girls in Grades 5-8 only.  This program which competes against town local to Belmont,  involves "try-outs" and will have a limited number of roster spots available per team.

PLEASE NOTE: TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAVEL PROGRAM, A PLAYER MUST ALSO BE A REGISTERED AND ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE IN TOWN PROGRAM.

 

 

 Travel
  • LEAGUES / DIVISIONS: BYBA Travel teams play in the Middlesex League. We sponsor a boys and girls division team for each grade (5th-8th). 
  • GAME SCHEDULE:Travel teams will play 1-2 games per week and have 1 90-minute practice per week. (Belmont's home games are played on Saturday evening).
  • ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, players must meet all of the following requirements
    • Resident of the Town of Belmont.
    • Participate in at least 1 of the 2 tryout sessions that will be offered in mid-November. Players are stongly encouraged to participate in both sessions.
    • Registered and active member of the in-town league.
  • TRYOUTS:Two tryout sessions will be held on consecutive Saturdays in early November. Specific dates/times will be posted shortly.

 

Travel Registration Details

  • REGISTRATION: Only selected players will be required to register and pay the travel season fee.
  • REGISTRATION FEES: The fee for the 2010-2011 travel season will be posted shortly.
