Travel Registration and Program Information

Registration Details

  •  REGISTRATION: Only players selected from the travel tryouts should register and pay the travel season fee.
    • Travel Registration is now Closed.
    • Please use season "Traveling 11/12" during the registration process

  • REGISTRATION DATES:
    • All selected travel players must register prior to Saturday, December 3rd. 

  • REGISTRATION FEES:
    • For Grades 6-8, Travel Program fee is $155
    • For Grade 5 ONLY, Travel Program fee is $100

Program Details

BYBA fields competitive traveling teams for both boys and girls in Grades 5-8 only.  This program which competes against town local to Belmont, involves "try-outs" and will have a limited number of roster spots available per team.

PLEASE NOTE: TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAVEL PROGRAM, A PLAYER MUST ALSO BE A REGISTERED AND ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE IN TOWN PROGRAM.
  • LEAGUES / DIVISIONS: BYBA sponsors one boys and girls division team for each grade (6th-8th) and 2 balanced teams for Grade 5 only. 
  • GAME SCHEDULE:Travel teams will play 1-2 games per week and have one 90-minute practice per week. (Belmont's home games are played on Saturday evening).
  • ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, players must meet all of the following requirements
    • Resident of the Town of Belmont.
    • Participate in at least 1 of the 2 tryout sessions that will be offered in November. Players are stongly encouraged to participate in both sessions.
    • Registered and active member of the in-town league.
  • TRYOUT DATES: 
    • Tryouts will be held on Saturday November 12th and 19th.
